The proclaimed “King Of The South” is looking to become “King Of The Food Industry”. Rapper T.I had a private opening of his new restaurant in Atlanta yesterday.
T.I has dominated the music industry for years and is now looking to tip his A-town cap a little more into the business world. He already owns his own music label and clothing line, but now you can add Scale 925 to his expanding list of business ventures.
Scale 925’s name came from a combination of T.I’s (who is named the principal and co-founder of the spot), horoscope sign and birthdate (September 25th). The upscale southern restaurant’s heads chef will be T.I’s former personal chef, Ashley. According to the website, Scale 925 is “a restaurant that wants to be known for it’s offering of a brilliant and unexpected mix of southern cuisine, stunning design and an unforgettable experience.”
Mayor Kasim Reed came out to help cut the ribbon for the new restaurant along with other guest. And of course, Tiny was there to support her man. Scale 925 is located in Downtown Atlanta Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd and will open to the public on April 18th.
