Cheating 101

First things first, you have to correct your way of thinking. A healthy lifestyle is not supposed to be torture or something that you have to be rescued from one day out of the week. Have you ever witnessed a person on their cheat day almost put a restaurant out of business? It’s as if the person feels like they are free and can finally enjoy themselves. You are supposed to be enjoying yourself on your fitness journey. Healthy living is hard but you can make it pleasurable.
Kontrol Tip: We don’t do cheat days. We do one cheat meal one day out of the week. You don’t want to reverse the hard work you’ve done by eating unhealthy the whole day. If you want to take it a step further replace a cheat meal with a cheat item.

You are going to go out. You are going to have a life. You can still be fit and have a life. The key is to surround yourself around people that are positive and that support you. Fellowshipping with family and friends should not cause you to stray from your goals. Supportive people won’t have anything negative to say about you picking the healthier choice on the menu and will call you out if your cheat day turns into a cheat week.
Kontrol To-Go: Your turn to host a gathering? Make cocktails for your guests and make mocktails for yourself to consume fewer calories.
