It’s been a long time coming but the awaited third album for British Crooner Adele is finally back! The new album, rumored to be entitled ‘25’, does not have an official release date as of now but is said to be released when you least expect it like her ‘Sony’ sister mate Beyoncé.
In an exclusive, British showbiz writer James Ingham revealed: “I can exclusively reveal that the follow-up to second album 21 is already complete and will be released unexpectedly without prior warning – just like Beyoncé’s last record.” He went on to say that, “I’m also told the album is likely to be called 25, keeping in sync with her previous albums 19 and 21 both named after her age while recording them. My source says: “The album is written, recorded and finished.” “Theoretically it could be released tomorrow if she wanted. The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign. The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele’s new album is so widely anticipated it doesn’t need a long promotional build-up.”
She is likely to play a few select concert dates to promote the album with a potential tour scheduled in 2015. Earlier confirmation has been stated that the ten-time Grammy-award winner had been working on new material with Ryan Tedder and Phil Collins.
Adele hinted her long-awaited comeback was in the works in May by tweeting: “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year x.” The new music will be a welcome return for new mommy who has been MIA for the past year or two. ‘21’, her last album, sold almost 30 million copies, which was critical to her sweeping all the major awards! I can’t wait to hear her new music.
Welcome back Adele!
