When it comes to making a name for yourself in the industry, being true to your brand is a must! Whether your profession is beauty, music or science, be 100 with yourself and long term goals. This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the third installment of Tamiko Hope’s H.O.P.E. Series which stands for hearing other people experience. The key note speaker was none other than DJ Sense. DJ Sense has a very extensive resume and has carved his own lane in the music industry. Being apart of the famous Gangsta Grillz and Aphiliates music group, DJ Sense offered a wealth of knowledge about building your brand. Not to mention, he has a hot track under his belt he produced called “Do Me Like That” featuring Monica, Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti. It was a blessing to be apart of a forum where hard core facts were placed on the table ready to be absorbed.
Not only is this Trendsetter creating new avenues for his brand to flourish, he is helping others by giving them sound advice on what the industry does not want us to know. I gained a lot of needed information from this forum and I am estatic I went. One major thing I walked away with was the fact that experience is one’s best teacher. You will never know how to handle a specific situation if you never go through it. Once you are over the mountain, you realize that it was only a test and you passed with flying colors. Big salute to Tamiko Hope and DJ Sense for dropping some words on wisdom into the minds of our generation.
