From her amazing role as Yvette in Baby Boy, to being photographed and published in Vogue, Taraji P. Henson is most definitely making moves! She sits down with Vogue and discusses Historically Black Colleges, her beauty regimen and working with fine actors! Ms. Henson is more of a common name now in the industry from filming movies like “From the Rough”, “Think Like a Man”, “Think Like a Man Too” and her upcoming movie in September “Good Deeds” co starring “Idris Elba” this girl is on fire!
So when asked by Vogue what she studied at Howard University she excitedly replied that she is a proud graduate of Howard University and majored in Theatre Arts there! She also spoke of her daily beauty regimen stating that she keeps her hair strong by wrapping it up every night and gives her face a rest from make up as much as she can! Most celebrities would not be caught out with their beauty team putting in work, but when you have the natural beauty of Taraji then you can do that!
Her memorable role in “Baby Boy” where she played alongside Tyrese was sure enough some eye candy for her everyday but she speaks of working with Idris Elba and jokes that he is so hard to look at. That man has been someone’s Man Crush Monday every week!
Taraji P. Henson closes out her interview with Vogue and states that she is proud of the moves that have been made for black actresses in the last ten years but knows we still have a long way to go! How can you not love a woman so beautiful, comedic, and genuine? I am so proud of Ms. Henson and continue to support her work!
