It has been April for 3 days now and no sign of The-Dream and his “Crown” EP yet. Yesterday, The-Dream did make an announcement via Instagram that re-confirmed that the forthcoming EP is still on the way.
According to Mr. “I love Your Girl”, you won’t have to wait too much longer for his new project. Dream posted this picture yesterday on his Instagram account with the following caption:

Dream announced that he will be dropping his now April 14th EP as a prelude to his “Jewel” EP which is slated to drop June 9th (as of now). Currently carrying the delayed project are the singles “Fruition” and “That’s My Sh*t” featuring T.I.
“Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before. If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in, every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot.” – The Dream told Vibe recently.
