I’m sure you’ve all seen the hashtags dubbed The Towel Series. Well thanks to Mario Testino we are seeing a lot of celebs in nothing but a towel! The Towel Series works like this: Testino invites who he sees fit to his “private club,” shoots them in their towel, and uploads the pic to Instagram. A definite two-birds-one-stone move, it usually happens while he’s shooting some other magazine editorial with these subjects.
“You can do anything you want—wear it however you want,” he told Vogue of the towel-centric project. “I have always treasured this kind of freedom: it’s rare.” It all started with supermodel Kate Moss and it has become an Instagram phenomenon!
