Earlier this year, after his Oscar nomination for the popular song “Earned it” off of the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, the Weeknd announced a collaboration with Puma called PumaXO. He’s also just announced a series of pop-up shops behind his new album Starboy; which will be open this weekend, and that’s not all, as of just a couple of hours ago he has now just announced a new collaboration with Swedish clothing brand H&M. As you might tell the Weeknd is on fire! The Canadian singer will star in the company’s Spring 2017 campaign, which will also feature new collaborative pieces developed with the Weeknd’s XO brand.

In which he’ll also embark on a world tour beginning in Stockholm on Feb. 17, 2017, took to Instagram to announce his latest collaboration with the mega-retailer in this statement, “Excited to announce that I’m starring in the @HM and XO campaign launching March 2017 #HMSPRINGICONS”. H&M disclosed that the line will feature key items handpicked by Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd’s real name), but other than that, mums the word when it comes to any further detail on the collaboration. However, according to fashion sources, the brand will be showcasing their upcoming menswear collection “Spring Icons” selected by The Weeknd this upcoming spring 2017. The retailer plans to unveil the line at its stores on March 2, but be on the lookout for commercials and ads to go hand and hand with this dope collab. Remember the David Beckham and Kevin Hart hilarious ads, We’re pretty sure H&M and the Weeknd have something big in store to captivate our attentions and get us in the stores this upcoming spring season.
