There have been some great sneaker releases during the first half of 2017. Ranging from Jordan’s to Yeezys, the selection is exceptional. With the variety of sneakers coming out, there is no need to feel like there’s only one choice. For shoes, the year is off to a great start with more great sneakers to come. Kontrol Homme has compiled a list of the top 10 releases thus far.
Air Jordan 1 “Royal”
Everyone is a fan of shoes from the Air Jordan collection. Well, this shoe is no different and is quite popular among the masses. The “Royal” sneaker is one of the best to be sold from the entire list. These High Og style shoes are still iconic despite Jordan never wearing them in the NBA. The best deal for these shoes is at Finish Line, Foot Locker, and of course Nike.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra”
With the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” sneakers, Kanye West has done it once again. Although they are like the other Yeezy Boosts released in the past, the black and white pattern makes all the difference. These sneakers aren’t exactly easy to come by due to being sold out. Try being one of the first to purchase from the Adidas website once they restock.

Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard Shoe 2.0
Tom Sachs partnered with Nike back in 2012 and they’re collaborating again for the Nike Mars Yard Shoe 2.0 sneaker. This updated version is almost identical to the original shoe, except for the better mesh material and stitching. Get yours from the Nike website or Tom Sachs’ very own website, www.tomsachs.org.

Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo “Black”
Supreme partnered with Nike to create the Nike Air More Uptempo, also known as Suptempos. Prior to the release of the Uptempos, there was much anticipation amongst sneakerheads. The shoe also comes in the metallic gold and red/white colorways, but this one is a game-changer. To get ahold of these visit Supreme stores in New York, London, and Paris. They are also available through Nike.

KAWS x Air Jordan IV
By incorporating the suede material throughout the whole shoe, KAWS has pushed the Kaws x Air Jordan IV to the top 10. Gray on gray colorway was a brilliant idea to make it stand out on its own. Glow-in-the-dark sole finishes the shoe off the right way. Of course, people could not wait to get their hands on this shoe. Visit a Nike store to check these out.

Adidas Futurecraft 4D
The Adidas Futurecraft 4D shoes came from a collaboration with a California-based company named Carbon. They use a technology called digital light synthesis. Light is used to create the sole’s shape and heat used to set it. The appearance is simple, while the design process is advanced. Who wouldn’t want to claim a pair of these as their own? Head over to the Adidas website to purchase this sneaker.

Nike Airmax 97 “Silver Bullet”
One usually thinks of the 95 when Air Max is the subject, but the 97 stands on its own. The silver color way does the shoe justice. This sneaker is received well in the United States as well as overseas. Anyone who hasn’t experienced an Airmax should try this one. To get a pair visit the Nike website.

Adidas Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase
With its simple design, the Adidas Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase shoe is on the rise. West was originally seen wearing these during fashion week back in 2016. One could argue that these are close to the Reebok design from the 1980’s. Select your size from the Adidas website and exclusive retail stores.

COMME de GARÇONS x NikeLab Vapormax
Nike has yet again a collaboration with a well-known brand. The COMME de GARÇON x NikeLab Vapormax has a fit like a sock. The colorways are black and an almost-white blue with an air-bubble cushion. These are available through Nike.

HAVEN x Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Uncaged
Adidas joins forces with retailer HAVEN to create this Ultra Boost. From beginning to the end, there is extensive detail. The classic Ultra Boost design was a hit amongst sneakerheads. Visit the Havenshop website to get your pair.
