It’s another Tuesday, and another transformation to reveal! Songwriter, rapper, singer, and producer Missy Elliot has made hits after hits with her own signature style. Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, is the “Supa Dupa Fly” emcee that we will never get tired of! If you watched the BET awards on Sunday, Pharrell brought out VA’s finest for a surprise performance. It was only right to feature Miss E in today’s transformation Tuesday. Take a look at Missy’s looks that have changed but have still remained the same.
Missy has always taken us into her magical world amazing us with her creativity time and time again. She has given us visuals that we automatically think of after we hear the beat drop of one her many songs. Who can forget “The Rain” video when Missy had her fresh finger waves riding in her jeep with Timothy? We definitely can’t forget the blown up black trash bag, red shades, and gold helmet that she wore too.
It’s safe to say that no one can rock short hair like Missy. We’ve seen her with color, all black, long asymmetrical bangs and curly bangs, and spikes for added flair.
Missy has also shown us that she doesn’t have to wear makeup all the time but when she does put on her face it is beat for the gods!
When she dropped her fourth studio album Under Construction in 2002, a new Missy hit the scene. She told us to “Work It” with her long hair hanging to one side with a Kangol hat or fitted to match. Lately she’s kept the modern 80s look modifying her hair from loose curls to braids.
