Vans Equals Street/Skate Shoe Mega Fame
The street shoe Vans is no stranger to a boss collaboration. Opening Ceremony, Disney, and The Beatles Yellow Submarine have also been featured. Lagerfield, who is the head designer and creative director at Chanel, Fendi and his own label has also collaborated on other projects like H&M, and Vince Camuto. In addition, the latest collab will be Vans x Karl Lagerfield.
Karl Lagerfield and Vans Announce The Launch of Their Fall Collection!
The Fall capsule collection will feature 12 styles that reinterpret Vans’ renowned classic style, through the lens of the iconic fashion house for an effortlessly cool result. Most of all, redesigned checkerboard prints will now feature a repeating Karl profile, boucle fabric, and a quilted K. In addition to the redesigned classic pieces, t-shirts, bomber jackets, and quilted backpacks will round out the collection.
Vans x Lagerfield Collection Drops This Fall!
Vans x Karl Lagerfield designs will be revealed for the first time to the public at the Bread & Butter trend show in Berlin, from September 1st to the 3rd. The launch will be available worldwide on September 7th at KARL LAGERFELD boutiques, select Vans stores, Vans.com and KARL.com.
What Else Can We Expect From The Lagerfield x Vans Collection?
Note worthy features of this collaboration is the Parisian-chic twist. As a result, the debut of the SK8-Hi Laceless Platform and the Old Skool Laceless platform styles will be showcased. Both of which will be outfitted in luxe leather with K-quilted stitching atop white platform soles. Leather Classic Slip-Ons feature K-quilted details as well. And the assortment of Vans’ legendary black and white Checkerboard Slip-On now has cameo print. Needless to say, we can’t wait for this collaboration to drop!
