Vegan Talk: Kontrol Beauty’s top Vegan Nail Polish Brands

A Vegan lifestyle means more than the foods that you put into your body. If you are considering going vegan, it is important to consider the outside as much as you do the inside.

Most beauty companies have begun to take a look at the current ingredients in their products to determine how they can swap them out for non cruelty & toxin free ingredients.

Ladies, as much as we enjoy getting our nails “did” the fumes that we are inhaling are very harmful. Not only are the fumes harmful but some of our favorite nail polishes are full of toxins and can contain formaldehyde.

Well, How Do I Know If a Polish Is Vegan?

They are a few ingredients that you can be on the look out for:

  • Guanine aka Pearl Essence
  • Carmine
  • Oleic Acid
  • Toluene (effects the nervous system)
  • DBP (effects the endocrine system)
  • Formaldehyde

It is important to take a quick glance the next time you are considering a new nail polish color. The names that I have listed are animal ingredients.

Awareness is KEY!

As I am still growing and learning in my own way of living, I know that I will continue to make mistakes.

I hope that this allows you to open your eyes to new horizons.

If changing your beauty products means that you can live longer and healthier.. why not!
