The only thing to top an Avengers movie is a movie showing Avengers fighting each other. As you know, next year’s film, Captain America: Civil War features the epic showdown between two teams of Avengers. One team, led by Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) is pro-registration wanting all superheroes/superhumans to reveal their identities and work for the government; and Captain America (Chris Evans) leads the anti-registration heroes determined to maintain their secret identities and protect the safety of their loved ones. In the middle of this Civil War is Spider-Man, the hero who both Shellhead and Cap are fighting over. His compliance with either side signifies just how torn the superhero community is when friends and allies become foes. Surprisingly, Spidey is fighting Cap according to sources on set of the film!

Apparently, Tom Holland, the new Spider-Man, has been seen in Germany during the final week of the film’s production filming a fighting scene between he and Evans’ iconic characters. Fanboys know this is only part of the story as Webhead was sent after Cap and his team, but ultimately decides to side with them after pledging his allegiance to Iron Man. You know this will be one amazing fight is Cap is practically the greatest hand to hand fighter in the Marvel Universe and Spidey’s freestyle fighting style is virtually unpredictable. Ultimately it will come down to age and experience winning over youth and power. Sorry Peter Parker!
You can catch Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, and a whole slew of Avengers in Captain America: Civil War in theaters everywhere May 6, 2016!
