In the last few years, zombie movies have become a trend in the horror action genre with films like Dawn of the Dead, the popular Resident Evil series, and most recently, the Box Office plunge-to-its-redeath-remake-fail, Evil Dead, all grossing millions of dollars with weak storylines, pitifully attracted by 3D effects and gun slaying hot chicks like Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich. However, where there is a will there is a good action packed zombie film with original story and the ever so sexy, Brad Pitt.
In World War Z, Pitt stars as an ex-United Nations specialist, whose intelligence is needed to stop a random virus, globally turning society into flesh-hungry fast-moving zombies. After near death danger in infested American lands, Pitt and his family move to safe military-based security, but the force needs the specialist to find answers to what caused this killer disease. From action-packed Zombie frights to a blow you out of your seat airplane crash scene, enhanced with incredible 3D effects, World War Z delivers passed viewers expectations! I rate this smart often witty action horror film 5 out of 5 BLAZE STARS. It’s definitely not a wait-until-Rebox-release. You will want to see it on the silver screen and pay the extra $5 for 3D effects (Yes, $5! The movies is getting expensive these days.) Go see World War Z in theaters now!
