Not everyone takes a Grammy snub lightly. As many can attest to the politics of the music industry YG is letting it all out. Dropping his latest track entitled, “2015 Flow” produced by DJ Mustard all can hear the intensity behind the content YG is airing out. In hopes of making the category for BEST RAP ALBUM only to find out that no love was given in his direction.
Looks like Iggy Azalea is singing a different tune these days. After winning her American Music Award for Best Rap Album, which came with much backlash now comes a Grammy nom. Predictions are again pointing in her direction for most successful rap album this time too. Who could honestly forget the success of “Fancy” this last summer?
Either way YG isn’t taking this lying down and coming for anyone in his path. He states, “Fuck it. I’m leaking some shitt off my soundtrack, 2015 Flow dec15th. #BlameItOnTheStreets.” The sound of his released track shows he’s bringing in 2015 a lot sooner than anyone guessed. We’ll be watching for sure.
