Grand Hustle’s own Young Dro was arrested this past Saturday on a theft charge, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Dro, (whose real name is Djuan Montreal Hart) was charged with theft by conversion of leased or rented personal property from an incident in February, according to DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. The 36-year-old rapper was being held without bond as of Monday morning.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office stated in an email that Dro was apprehended on Sunday for an unrelated incident.
Spokeswoman Cynthia Williams says, “In the process, officers learned of an outstanding warrant for his arrest in DeKalb County.”
In case you’re wondering what theft by conversion of leased or rented personal property is, the state of Georgia defines it as someone who wrongfully uses property or funds of another for their own purposes.
Smh.
C’mon son! Dro you gotta do better!
