Zoe Kravtiz is seen serving it up on the cover of the March issue of Ocean Drive Magazine
Zoe Kravitz is a prodigy of beauty & talent thanks to her amazing parents Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet to embrace it or not.
She opens up w/ Us Magazine about life as a Kravitz.
“Kravitz’s superstar parents split in 1993 after six years of marriage. In 2007, Cosby Show alum Bonet remarried Game of Thrones hunk Jason Momoa, with whom she shares two children Nakoa-Wolf, 6, and Lola, 7. “My dad loves and is close with my brother and sister,” Zoe told the mag. “It’s really beautiful. As long as everyone can be in the same room together, and have love for each other, it’s totally healthy.”
“It makes things so easy that my parents are still very close,” Insurgent movie actress Kravitz, 26, told the mag. “They have so much love for each other. My dad and my stepdad get along really well.”
“I can’t imagine what it’s like for people who come from very normal lives and all of a sudden become famous,” Kravitz reflected. “I’ve been lucky enough to dip my toe in it and feel the water before I got in the pool.”
One thing that confused her parents initially was when they first heard music from her band Lolawolf. “At first, they were like, ‘Oh, what is this?’ which is how everyone reacts to it,” she said of her band’s work. “The music is kind of weird and different. It’s good when you can’t describe it right away or put a genre to it; it represents me well. Now my mom plays it in the house and my dad is super proud.”
Zoe Zalso spoke on other ways to express herself thru the arts.”It’s always what I’ve done, before I even had a real understanding of how the rest of the world saw my parents,” the Mad Max: Fury Road actress shared. “My dad was always really supportive. My mom always wanted to make sure that this is what I really wanted to do before being in the public eye myself. They knew that’s genuinely who I am — I don’t know what else I would do if I wasn’t creating.”
Zoe Kravtiz definitely following her parent’s footsteps by taking on both the big screens and the big stage. Starring as Christina in Insurgent the second installment of the young-adult franchise Divergent that’s set to hit the theaters in March 20, 2015. She’s also onstage, where she fronts the electro-glitch-pop trio Lolawolf who’s creating quite a buzz domestically and internationally. The band was seen playing The Roots Feb 8th, and playing in London Feb 10th so it’s safe to say she is dominating in both movies and music.
