Victoria Monet recruits Latin Grammy and Latin Music Awards nominee Bia for her latest track and video “Freak Remix.”
Determined to make a name for herself, the half Puerto-Rican, half Italian rapper/vocalist has been sculpting her own lane since her debut project #CholaSeason. After it’s release, BIA has nabbed a Latin Grammy and Latin Music Awards nominations for her feature on Reggaeton King, J Balvin’s 2016 summer smash “Safari,” securing tours with hip hop royalty Pusha-T and pop’s elite Ariana Grande as well as released a slew of singles that have gained her the respect of her peers and critics alike. Having signed to Pharrell’s record label i Am Other in collaboration with RCA, BIA has continued to entertain fans with her artistry. In 2016 she released “Gucci Comin’ Home,” a tribute to trap king Gucci Mane, which received much love and airplay on BET and Revolt. This was followed up by BIA’s next single “Whip It” which clipped over 3 million streams across all digital platforms after the video debuted exclusively on World Star Hip Hop.
