A lot edge with a hustler’s state of mind in female form is Reemarkable. Daughter of the legendary Eric “Eazy-E” Wright is bringing something new to the entertainment industry. With the release of her newest single “Middle Finger”, Reemarkable’s cadence and delivery are impeccable. Her story is quite different. Growing up poor in East Atlanta, she had to learn how to hustle at a young age. She is the youngest of Eazy-E’s children and is currently the only one that lives outside of California. Looking to build her own brand, she understands the legacy her father has left behind but Reemarkable is looking to solidify her own name amongst the greats.
For all that may not know, who is ReeMarkable?
Who is ReeMarkable? I am the definition of it in many ways. I am an Atlanta native artist, a creative genius with a universal sound blessed and placed on this earth by God.
You are the daughter of the legend himself – Eazy E, how was it growing as the daughter of such a influential figure in hip-hop?
Honestly, the world can be so ugly. Growing up I was teased a lot and still till this day the trolls on social media make nasty “AIDS” related comments. People don’t know that my dad was actually murdered, because no one wakes up from a clear bill of health with full blown AIDS. The positives – I do take from being his daughter is the family he gave me, the support from those who truly loved him and the hustle in my blood that helped make me, Me!
Writing My Wrongs was your last full length project, what was the inspiration behind this body of work?
Correct and my fans are actually asking for Writing My Wrongs 2 lol. The main inspiration for the Ep was my true life. Contrary to whats believed about me , I grew up in poverty, moving house to house and family to family. Writing my wrongs gives some insights on some of the things I went through growing up.
Describe ReeMarkable in three words?
Intelligent, passionate and leadership
What advice would you give to another woman that is looking to break into the music industry?
My advice to another woman that is looking to break into the music industry would be – first and foremost be yourself. It is important to be the person the younger you would want to look up to as well as the older you would be proud to look back on. I believe that is important to keep positive and loving people in your circle. Pray for strength and guidance , I am barely scraping the surface and it’s getting hard already. Most importantly do what makes you happy.
Where do you see your brand in the next 3 years?
In the next three years I most definitely see myself and my brand being a household name. I have true passion for music and the art of being a creative person. I have aspirations of not only being a musical artist but also acting and directing.
