Becoming a mother was one of the most transformational and important things that has happened to me. This is why in honor of our fifteen-year anniversary, we are launching a collection that celebrates the joy and life that children are.”
– Rebecca Minkoff
Those are the words from Mompreneur designer Rebecca Minkoff. During NYFW SS20, “LITTLE MINKOFF” cute and chic children’s collection was released. The 20-piece unisex collection includes pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, and a super cute moto jacket, that I definitely want my Miss Harlem to have. The Collection has affordable prices starting at $28. Before you go surfing the net for these looks, let me tell you that they’re available later this month at https://www.rebeccaminkoff.com/blogs/news/little-minkoff-1
The curation was amazing and transparent. It gave representation to everyday moms. This year, Rebecca brilliantly used a pregnant model in all her naturalness, and there was a cute baby on the runway. Rebecca Minkoff, who has three young children, said having kids was another reason why she wanted to create a sustainable line” As you take a look at the collection, you notice the 70’s chill vibe from the tie-dye, florals and animal prints. And if you’re a mom that’s not into the mommy and me (matchy-matchy vibes) you can create looks from her women’s ready-to-wear as they offer some of the same patterns and silhouettes.
I absolutely love the collection and I appreciate the curation of the presentation. It was executed very well, Rebecca has showcased that she’s relatable and understands the everyday women. Once the collection is available to purchase, I’ll be purchasing Miss Harlem a garment or two.
