Caitlyn Jenner is ready to taking over another brand! The olympian was announced as the new face of H&M’s new sports collection. Jenner first spread the good news through her Twitter account by letting her fans know she was backstage with the major retailer and was proud to be a part of their new #HMSport campaign.
H&M recently revealed that Jenner was the perfect spokesperson due to her individuality. “We want to illustrate that everything is possible—in sports, and in life,” a spokesperson for H&M explained. “It’s a collection of performance sportswear made to celebrate individuality and self-belief.”
The company also wanted to show diversity and personality in everything it did and designed. Although H&M has embraced Jenner as the face of their new sportswear line many are still skeptical about the decision.
“We strive to convey an image of diversity in all that we do and we welcome all people inspired by fashion. We want our advertising to inspire as many people as possible and we target a wide and diverse target group.”
Although a date hasn’t been set for the launch of the new collection—Jenner has kept us on our toes. She recently added another brand to her empire. The 66-year-old just recently partnered with MAC Cosmetics, creating a rosey nude lipstick in which all sales of the product will go towards improving transgender communities. The lipstick is set to release in April. Jenner is ready for world domination and she is just getting started.
