Disney’s Cinderella movie has created quite a buzz with collaborations and inspirations in beauty and fashion to carry the Cinderella brand going rampant. In celebration of the release of the movie, Disney has decided to collaborates with 9 distinguished shoe brands to reimagine Cinderella’s glass slipper. The designers include: Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau, and Stuart Weitzman.
“Cinderella’s glass slipper has become a magical symbol of transformation,” said Jonathan Symington, vice president and general manager, licensing, Disney Entertainment at Disney Consumer Products. “Each pair of shoes in this exciting global collection captures Cinderella’s elegance and grace through the lens of celebrated designers, making this shoe collection truly fit for a princess.”
The shoes will be available in select retail stores around the world, including Saks Fifth Avenue in the U.S in addition to being available at some of the designers’ flagship stores in early March with the actual Cinderella film being in theaters March 13th.
