“Ain’t Nothing Like Being Free!” Phaedra Parks’ Divorce Has Been FINALIZED!

Well it is official!

After more than two years of nonsense and shenanigans The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks is a single woman again.

News has come in that her divorce has been finalized; which pretty much dismisses any of her ex-husband, Apollo Nida’s new nonsense. As you may recall, not only is Apollo still incarcerated, but he filed divorce documents of his own seeking joint custody of their two sons.

Court docs unsealed Monday back up Phaedra’s original claim 100% — she’s been officially single since July.

According to the docs, Apollo was served in March — while behind bars — and even asked the court for time to respond, which he was granted. Still, 4 months went by and he went radio silent … so the judge went ahead and signed off on the divorce without Apollo’s signature.

The docs also include a parenting plan. Phaedra gets physical custody of their 2 kids while Apollo finishes his 8 year bid. When he’s out, he’ll get visitation, but she gets final say over any parenting disagreements.

Apollo denied knowing anything about the divorce, and even went so far as to file his own petition last week. Clearly, he’s got time to kill right now.

We are happy to see Phaedra is done with this nonsense. Apollo is nice to look at and that’s about it. His latest attempts to try and undermine his now ex-wife have failed. We just wonder what is next for Phaedra? We are sure she has a few suitors in mind and with her charm, wits, and beauty we all know she can upgrade away from Apollo with all the deliberate speed God allows. Did anyone else catch how Apollo is trying to get joint custody of the kids while still being locked up? No judge would ever let that happen. Congrats Phaedra!

Hey Mikey!

WHO AM I? That’s probably what you’re thinking? It’s simple I’m this generation’s “Dear Abby!” I was raised in the Fourth Ward of Atlanta, educated in the School of Hard Knocks, and rescued by the concrete and steel of New York City. Life at best will always be bittersweet. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be. I’d prefer to be on your sweeter side. Everyone needs a listening ear, extra shoulder, and open arms when life gets rough. I’m your new best friend, whe it all goes south remember I’m a mouse click or tweet away. Hang in there kids, you’re gonna love kickin’ it with me!!! -MIKEY
