It is hard to believe Christmas is nearly here, but in a mere 44 days we will all be around the Christmas tree tearing wrapping paper off gifts!

We are praying they will be good times, because right about we all need them; which is why Almost Christmas has arrived right on time to lighten the mood!

Following in the footsteps of films like This Christmas, The Best Man Holiday, and The Perfect Holiday this film delivers love, laughs, and a little family drama to spice things up!

The film centers on  The Meyers Family, headed by a widower, Walter (Danny Glover), as he deals with his first Christmas following his wife’s death. His sister-in-law, May, and his four adult children, Cheryl (Kimberly Elise), Rachel (Gabrielle Union), Christian (Romany Malco), and Evan (Jessie T. Usher), all arrive to the family home and almost instantly drama ensues! Christian is preoccupied with bid for Congress, Cheryl and Rachel’s sibling rivalry becomes hurtful, and Evan’s addiction threatens far more than his promising football career. Through it all the family has to put their differences aside in name of their mother and to have a memorable holiday.

Hey Mikey!

WHO AM I? That’s probably what you’re thinking? It’s simple I’m this generation’s “Dear Abby!” I was raised in the Fourth Ward of Atlanta, educated in the School of Hard Knocks, and rescued by the concrete and steel of New York City. Life at best will always be bittersweet. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be. I’d prefer to be on your sweeter side. Everyone needs a listening ear, extra shoulder, and open arms when life gets rough. I’m your new best friend, where it all goes south remember I’m a mouse click or tweet away. Hang in there kids, you’re gonna love kickin’ it with me!!! -Michael Jonvier
