André 3000 is promoting his upcoming film, Jimi: All Is by My Side. The film is the highly anticipated biography about the legendary rock star, Jimi Hendrix.

While on the subject of biography films, the idea of an Outkast biopic was brought to André’s attention.

According to Complex.com, André shares that he would want Leo DiCaprio to play him if there were ever to be a biopic. Isn’t that an interesting choice?

André shares why DiCaprio would be a perfect fit, “It would be great to make an Outkast movie right now, but instead of really serious, make it a full comedy — like Kevin Hart would play Big Boi…””…We should cast somebody stupid — like Leonardo [DiCaprio]” (to play his character), the artist tells Rolling Stone.

Of course Mr. 3000 would take the eclectic option when imaging how an Outkast biopic would pan out.

All jokes aside, Complex.com also shared a comment that André made about his rap partner, Big Boi, during his Rolling Stone interview. “The chemistry that made Outkast was the balance,” the actor/rapper told Rolling Stone. “And honestly, Big’s a much sharper rapper than I am. If I was going to a battle, I’d definitely bet on him instead of me.”
