Marvel’s tiniest heroes are still two of its mightiest! We are super psyched as Ant-Man & The Wasp finally goes digital and comes to Blu-Ray this October!
When we last saw Scott Lang, aka the second “Ant-Man,” he was in Captain America: Civil War, where he was recruited by Captain America to fight off Iron Man and a few other heroes to save Winter Soldier and stop Baron Zemo. However, Scott was subsequently arrested for his actions and placed on house arrest for two years, alienating himself from Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), the original Ant-Man and his daughter, Hope Van Dyne. Flash forward to present day and Hope has become a superhero herself, operating with her father and utilizing a modified version of her mother, Janet’s (Michelle Phifer), Wasp suit equipped with wings and “stingers” that can fire blasts of electrical energy. Hank may have discovered a means of rescuing Janet from the Quantum Universe just as the latter telepathically reaches out to Scott. Hope and Hank reluctantly enlist Scott’s help in saving her, but a mysterious villain with quantum powers of her own, Ghost, wants their technology for herself. Scott and Hope will have to team up as Ant-Man and Wasp to not only save Janet, but keep Hank’s shrinking technology out of the government and organized crime’s clutches!
The Avengers may be dealing with Thanos and saving the universe, but its nice to see the smaller adventures are just as action packed. October 2, 2018 you’ll be able to digitally watch Marvel’s Ant-Man & The Wasp; and then on October 16, 2018 you’ll be able to add the Blu-Ray to your collection. Happy viewing!
