Inside Deception is about Andrea’s journey for redemption. Determined to put the past behind her, she resolves to deceptive measures to get the one man she feels will give her the love she deserves. But as she takes this path down self-destruction lane, she soon realizes that everything is not quite as it seems.

1. Tell us what this book is about?
After suffering from a traumatic childhood, including sexual abuse at the hands of her biological father, Andrea Ranch thought that her life would never be the same. That was, until she laid eyes on Keith Griffin while on the campus of University of Louisiana. And from that moment on, he became her prized possession.
Years later, Andrea is still determined to become one with Keith Griffin. But there is one thing standing in her way—Eva English, Keith’s fiancée. In her quest to destroy the couple’s happily ever after ending, Andrea gets entangled in a twisted web of lies, sinister deception, and erotomanic delusions.
Left in a psychosomatic state with nowhere to turn, Andrea finds herself in a psychiatric hospital. Yes, the same one where Eva, her number one nemesis, just so happens to be employed. The wheels to this tale ultimately spin out of control when Dr. Stacy Reynolds, Eva’s best friend, is faced with the professional duty to help restore Andrea’s mental stability and the moral dilemma to defend her friend. Will she fulfill her professional obligation or will vengeance be hers?
2. Why did you choose to write this book?
My passion is to inform and educate my readers on mental health disorders, particularly those that are less well known without writing dull stories. While “Inside Deception” is a multicolored story of fiction filled with twist and turns, mental illness is a real and serious problem. Childhood abuse almost always leads to adult mental illness, especially in those who go untreated. It was important for me to tell Andrea’s story in hopes of raising awareness on mental health illness in women.
3. Tell us why your writing is unique?
My writing is unique to me because I followed my own style. My characters were constantly speaking to me… I had to tell their stories. Penning “Inside Deception” was a way to give them a colorful voice while letting my creativity as a new author flow.
4. What can we look forward from you?
You can look forward to more drama filled and delusional characters detailing mental instability. In my next book you will meet a young lady who is devastated by the lasting effects of returning home from the war in Afghanistan. I am not speaking of PTSS (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome). I am educating my readers on a behavior we often witness, but can’t put a name to. My readers will be able to see the patterns and unpredictability in my characters while gaining insight on mental health. We have all seen Crazy; I’m giving Crazy a name.
