1.       Tell us what this book is about?

Fancy is about a young woman who is very much into designer clothes and living the party life. People assume that because she’s always seen in VIP popping bottles while rocking Gucci and Prada that she must be living the good life, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Although Fancy portrays herself to the world as being wealthy, popular and happy, in actuality she is really poor, lonely and miserable.

2.       Why did you choose to write this book?

I wanted to write a story I haven’t seen done before, and a the same time, create a story and characters that readers could relate to. I figured since we all know people who “fraud” and pretend to be more than what they are, that would serve as a good premise for the book.

3.       Tell us why your writing is unique?

The first thing people usually notice about Fancy is that it is written in the present tense as if it is currently happening. That present tense combined with my descriptive writing style and the way I paint the picture of everything that is happening, makes for what some readers have referred to as movie-like vivid imagery.

4.       What can we look forward to from you?

I will be releasing my next novel, Knock-of Nina in July and a paranormal erotica e-book short entitled The Succubus, in October. The City of Brotherly Blood, a collaboration with my husband, Cal Akbar, is coming later this year.
