Do you guys want to know how rich the Avengers team is going to be? How about this: over $200 Million before the film even touches the United States of America!
You heard me right! According to Variety, Avengers: Age of Ultron slapped the foreign box office silly grossing in $201.2 million after it made its debut in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Russia. Those are big numbers considering that the film hasn’t opened in America yet which will more than likely out-do those numbers. The first Avengers movie grossed $207.4 million in its opening weekend in the U.S.
It seems like Marvel can do no wrong with their action-stuffed, super hero movies and the second Avengers film is looking forward to keeping that notion alive. Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters this Friday, May 1st.
As far as domestic goes, Furious 7 is still dominating the race adding $18.2 million to their ridiculous gross amount. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 comes in at no. 2 bringing in $15.5 million. Ex Machina brings in $5.4 millions and Age of Adaline bargains for a cool $13.4 million to cap off their debut weekends.
