Looks like R&B star turned fashionista Rihanna has reason to be upset as french fashion house Balmain has decided to replace the fashion icon in their upcoming campaign.
Rihanna was actually named the face for Balmain which she was modeling for their Spring/Summer ad campaign back in December of last year. Even though Rihanna wont appear in the campaign , she is being replaced by British models Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.
Recently Balmain’s designer Olivier Rousteing announced to Instagram followers that the new campaign would feature “different girls” with “different backgrounds”.
Just recently Rihanna was awarded the CFDA Fashion Icon Award and has been the face for campaigns including Armani and Mac just to name a few.
