BAPE Goes 90’s for its Men’s 2016 S/S Lookbook

Guy’s when I tell you urban streetwear is making a comeback this season, that’s just an understatement. Streetwear clothing giants are coming strong this season putting out the latest in men’s streetwear. Changing patterns and oldbape kontrolmag5 school ways of designing, urban streetwear brands are now embracing a more modern and innovative take on the classic design esthetic. One streetwear giant in particular A Bathing Ape has done just so, using a contemporary yet old school take on their trademark camouflage and shark head designs. A Bathing Ape has just unveiled their spring/summer 2016 look book. Shot with the clothing essentials done in a retro, throwback sports inspired aesthetic, the feel of the collection is reminiscent to a late 90’s early 2000’s sensibility. The inspiration of the collection can be easily seen through the clothing itself. Models are rocking throwback yet modern hockey jerseys, baseball inspired jerseys and basketball tank and shorts, as well as the classic polo shirt and oxford button-downs. In the collection as well features authentic A Bathing Ape Accessories and caps to go along with the throwback theme. Sporting their trademarked Ape which is a recurring motif throughout the collection in a bold and colorful design finishes this dope collection. Guy’s be on the lookout for this hot collection from A Bathing Ape and expect the goods to hit BAPE stores in upcoming weeks. Be sure to check out the look book for yourself at – EffYeahMark
