Get ready Gwen Stefani fans, the singer/fashion designer is launching a nail polish collection with OPI. The No Doubt front woman is famous for her killer style and signature beauty looks: Platinum hair. Red lipstick. Bindis. But now, OPI will be putting the spotlight on her nails with a rocking new line of colors inspired by the 2013 Met Gala theme “Punk: Chaos to Couture.”
Launching in January 2014, the limited-edition collection will feature the following Gwen-centric polishes: Hey Baby, I Sing In Color, Love.Angel.Music. Baby., 4 in the Morning, Push and Shove, and In True Stefani Fashion($9 each). Wait, it gets even better! There will also be special boxed sets that will include Over & Over A-Gwen, a bold red lacquer that mirrors Gwen’s trademark red lip, and Swarovski Elements, a cool nail art kit consisting of nail glue, black crystals, and circle, square and diamond shapes.
“OPI wanted to create a collection as dramatic, diverse, and glamorous as it’s namesake,” said OPI’s artistic director, Suzi-Weiss-Fischmann. “With creme and glitter hues , new satin matte texture, a mirrored chrome, Swarovski Elements, Gwen Stefani by OPI presents the latest in pigments and finishes, combining elements of haute couture and street fashion.” This collection sounds like a hit, we cannot wait to get our hands on it.
