Beauty Trend: Metallic Eyes

Metallic anything has become one of the key staples to any outfit this season and for sure during the holiday season. Metallic dresses look glamorous. Metallic accent accessories add the right amount of sparkle. And metallic on the eyes, well, they can serve as the icing on the cake.

The beauty of incorporating the metallic trend in your beauty routine is that you can be as subtle or dramatic as you like. You can do a full metallic lid or just liner. You can also get as creative or simple as you’d like. Having flexibility in being able to incorporate a trend means that anyone can do it! And we like that! Because the metallic trend is at an all time high this year, you are able to purchase your favorite beauty products for as cheap or luxe as you’d like.

Lupita is the perfect walking billboard of creating a neutral, but stand out metallic eye look.  Using bronze shadow all over her lid highlights her beautiful and glowing complexion perfectly!

Not quite ready to have a full on metallic lid? Well incorporating it to line your bottom and top lids including your tear duct instantly adds sparkle in addition to opening up your eyes a bit.

This takes Lupita’s metallic look down a bit, by keeping a neutral metallic tone on the lids only and not bringing it up to the brow bone as a highlight or eyeliner.  This would be a perfect way to incorporate the metallic trend into your everyday make-up routine.

Androgynous anchored with class and splashes of trendy is how I would describe my style with my bottom line style category being boho-chic. I love to challenge myself with new experiences and surrounding myself with positivity. Detroit raised me and Atlanta is grooming me. Sit back and enjoy the ride...I promise you this will be good.
