Black-Owned Hair Care Brands You Need in Your Life

Black-Owned Hair Care Brands You Need in Your Life

Finding the products that meet your specific hair care needs can be challenging, especially when you don’t know where to start. A lot of popular natural hair care lines are White-owned and they do the minimum, but it’s hard to create a hair care line that will facilitate Black hair health and growth…if you aren’t Black. Here’s a list of Black-owned hair care lines for all kinky, curly and wavy textures:

CURLS was founded in 2002 by Mahisha Dellinger. The line includes products for wavy, kinky and curly hair textures and all of the products contain organic ingredients. CURLS products can be found at stores such as Target, Sally’s, Rite Aid and CVS.
