The upcoming Netflix series and spin-off of the 90’s sitcom classic “Full House”, “Fuller House” is becoming just that. Bob Saget has joined the cast for the new reunion show.
When rumors first hit the fan about the reunion series of everyone’s beloved west coast family, the internet went into a frenzy. John Stamos went on Jimmy Kimmel back in April to confirm what every 90’s kid and adult wanted to hear for over a decade: a continuation of “Full House”.
Now one more piece to the nearly-perfect family picture has been added. Stamos made the announcement via Twitter Thursday night that Bob Saget will be joining the cast for the new series. Stamos tweeted: “Last but not least-best piece of casting yet. The great @bobsaget will be joining our show on @netfilx – this completes the perfect reunon!”- @JohnStamos
The cast is pretty much complete with the exception of the Olsen Twins passing on the idea. The Fuller House producers released a statement in regards to Mary-Kate and Ashley not joining the reunion series:
“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family…it has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House.”
Maybe there is still hope, but for now, this is as close as we are probably going to get to having the 90’s show back so we’ll gladly take it.
