Okay, every woman who wears lipstick already knows how difficult it is to find the prefect shade, first! But what about that perfect shade of lipstick that is too waxy and cakes up around the edges and corners of your mouth? What about that perfect shade that seems to makes its way to your teeth and stay before it stays on your lips? Of course, the list goes on in terms of the variance of gripes a lady who can’t find the best lip stain would go, but wait!
Body of Royalty has one of the best products lip color cosmetics has to offer! So, we got our hands on a few shades of Body of Royalty’s lipstick line and and I was happy to sample the goods! The packaging of the product is classically elegant. Everything that you receive from Body of Royalty comes in a glossy, black box with silver lettering and black ribbon. I must admit, I was already feeling like I had just unwrapped a gift!
The tubes are also glossy black with silver logo lettering. I was able to try three shade and I was hugely excited about a shade called “Queen’s Rage.” It’s such a rich, deep red and I tried it on immediately! As we all know, not every shade of red works with every skin tone so I was about 50 percent prepared to be disappointed that it didn’t work and more devastated that I would likely gift it to someone it would work better for. No fricking WAY! It looked damn good! Okay, cool! It looks good on, now the real test is in the staying power! Will I have to reapply every 30-45 minutes? No! It stayed on for hours! About this, I was one happy lady! No waxy residue and no caked lip corners!
The following days, I tried the other two shades “Adore Me” which is a rosy pink and “Natural Beauty” a pale pink. My first thoughts were these are fun colors but again, I’m not sure how well they’re going to blend on my skin. Now I’ve heard other cosmetic lines use the term “universal shades” but I can honestly say that Body of Royalty hit the nail on the head with making “universal shades” a legitimate claim! I cannot say enough how happy I am to have found a brand of lipstick that I know without a doubt will be a suitable match for my make-up style and I will be ordering a few shades of the lip glosses as well!
