Bold Haircuts Every Girl Should Try

With summertime approaching, everyone is getting that itch to cut off their hair. But HOW exactly should you cut it? Here are some Bold Haircuts Every Girl Should Try:

The Tapered Cut

A friend of mine cut my hair into a tapered cut Spring of 2015 and I liked it a lot. It made  doing bantu knots and twist-outs on my hair take so much less time. I trimmed it myself regularly and kept that up for a couple of months until I decided to let it grow out. I suggest this style for anyone who wants something different but isn’t quite ready to cut off all of their hair yet.

The Pixie Cut

Next, we have the pixie cut. My tapered cut turned into a pixie cut early Fall of 2016. This hairstyle had me feeling like a grown woman lol. I have had both a relaxed pixie cut and a natural pixie cut and I loved both. This is a low maintenance style, you just have to cut it regularly. I was terrified to get this cut at first because I felt that my head was too big. It wasn’t until I was completely fed up with my hair that I decided to do it lol. I eventually did let this style grow out once I started missing having hair. I would definitely get a wig in this style.

The Undercut

The undercut is the only one I have yet to try, but I really want to. This is similar to the tapered style but the low parts are LOW. My hair is so thick and I get so tired of it, but I want my hair to be in its healthiest state when I do this so that my curls are POPPIN. It will definitely be my next hair-venture. I suggest this style for anyone who wants the best of both worlds.

Does Head Shape/Size Matter?

As long as you’re confident with your style, it doesn’t matter. I swore my head was too big and long to pull of any of my tapered and pixie cuts but I got lots of compliments on both styles. Don’t just have the bold haircuts, OWN them.
