Jason Wu kept us breathless while presenting his latest women’s wear collection in New York.
Wu sent his models down the catwalk dressed for the major part in skirts and dresses. The classic women’s black suit was of course part of the show along with elegant and dressy black ensembles.
Sometimes embossing his designs with peeck-a-boo cuts on the waist or a deep V neck, Wu also added a few inches some of the over-the-knee skirts or dresses with sheer fabrics.
Clean and sharp, the lines of the iconic German brand remain masculine yet stylish, chic and sexy.
While geometric accents on pleated tech tulle were largely used for the collection, plain colors such as white, black and variants of pastels took over the prints on the runway.
The 31-year-old fashion designer mostly paired his designs with gladiator sandals either flat or with chunky soles in black, neutral or brown colors. Some belts and handbags in discrete hues were also seen here and there to embellish Wu’s collection.
Backstage, Wu stated, “my tenure at Boss is about changing people’s perceptions and expanding the horizon of what the brand can be”.
