The bridal runway trends for 2020 are nothing short of fabulous. While some of these stylish bridal trends are perhaps better suited for those with a classic sense of personal style, other trends push the standards of bridal fashion in another direction. It’s not necessarily easy to sift through your favorite bridal trend this season, but my goal is to make choosing your bridal gown a bit less overwhelming. Take this brief list of bridal trends as an attempt to help inform you of your options by narrowing down the top trends seen on runways so far. Whatever style or trend appeals to you the most, the goal is for you to be able to make an informed decision after reading this. After reading this list of bridal runway trends you should hopefully have a clearer vision of the bridal gown that best suits your personal sense of style.
Floral prints for the spring no doubt seem cliché, yet the graphic prints and more relaxed silhouettes are something to take a look at. I love classic styles however, I always recommend going against the grain in order to create something new, or at the very least a unique look. Dramatic ball gowns have emerged as a trend of note. They’re a far-cry from the fairytale themed gowns of the past. Ball gowns are sophisticated, stylish and wildly gorgeous. Corsets are among my personal favorite of the bridal trends this season. The intricately decorated bodice is a definite showstopper and will make any bride look beautiful. Sheer gowns likely come out as the sexiest and most demure of this season’s bridal runway trends. Sheer gowns are angelically beautiful and have delicate beading along the bodice for added detail and glamour.
2020’s list of bridal runway trends are nothing short of breathtaking.
Flora Frenzy
Floral prints have found their way into this season’s bridal and runway collections. While it might not appear groundbreaking (and it’s not) to include florals for the spring/summer season, the bright greenery of florals fit appropriately and elegantly into the bridal theme.

The Belle of the Ball
It’s not entirely certain if you can call this trend a comeback. Ball gowns are stylishly dramatic and attention demanding gowns. Ball gowns are classic pieces that never get old. These beautiful floor sweeping pieces come highly recommended and are ranked among my favorite selections this season.

The Craze of Corsets
There are few bridal trends this season that can match the sex appeal of a corset. Softly sheer textiles over intricately detailed corsets create a seductively demure look that’s sure to leave the bride looking breathtakingly beautiful.

The Sheer Sex Appeal
The style, sex appeal and aesthetic of sheer gowns is something that’s been seen on the red carpet for sometimes now. Its no surprise that this has made its way to the wedding aisle. The trend of sheer gowns had a hauntingly beautiful look that illuminated runways this season.

Funk, Flash and Flare: 1970’s appeal
The style and glamour of the 1970’s has had an enduring appeal that can be felt everywhere. The 70’s are noted for the incorporation of pants in the womenswear, fringe, to eccentric glamour heavily stoned and oversized accessories. The stylish funk of the 70’s was felt on runways this season in a big way.
