January 21st 2017 was no ordinary Sunday, it was the Sunday after the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump was elected into office and also the day 1 million women marched in Washington D.C. in solidarity including famous celebrities who decided to go bare faced.
The Women’s March included the main march in D.C. and Sister Marches in New York, London, Paris, Rome and more all over the world. Among these women–some who were Trump supporters but most not–came with united beliefs such as women’s rights, racial equality, and the likes; they also had on minimal makeup and being makeup free as another thing in common.

The most notable bare faced babe of them all– Alicia Keys took to the stage for a speech and then a performance. Stars like Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Janelle Monae, and Zendaya all were minimalist on this day of unity.

The organization behind the Women’s March had this to say:
Thank you to the millions of people around the world who, on January 21, came together to raise our voices. But our march forward does not end here. Now is the time to get our friends, family and community together and MAKE HISTORY.
We did it! On January 21, over 5 Million of us worldwide and over 1 Million in Washington, D.C., came to march, speak and make our voices heard. But it doesn’t end here – now is not the time to hang up our marching shoes – it’s time to get our friends, family and community together and make history.
They also don’t want it to stop there, for the next 100 days they are seeking the help of women to take different action every 10 days titled “10 Actions / 100 Days”, if you’re interested in joining this movement, for more information visit www.womensmarch.com
