In wake of the summer’s highly anticipated comedy, “Central Intelligence”, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Bob Stone), and Kevin Hart (Calvin Joyner), Ludacris hosted an Atlanta screening for the “Ludacris Foundation,” on Tuesday June 14th at Regal Atlantic Station and the theatre was PACKED!! The Ludacris Foundation was established in 2001, and is a company that has been dedicated to helping the youth help themselves. The foundation hosts various events in order to get the kids engaged, and keep them on the right path. On last Tuesday, the theatre was filled with kids of all ages, and they were truly enjoying themselves at the advanced screening, as they rocked their “Central Intelligence” tanks. The film focused on overcoming bullying, and being “the hero of your own story,” and served as an entertaining way to get that message across to the youth! This film is a must see for individuals of all ages, especially if you’re in need of a good laugh; the funny guy, Mr. Kevin Hart has no problems helping you out in that area.
Central Intelligence takes place in a metropolitan high school, “Central High;” which is where the most popular kid in school, Calvin Joyner, formed an everlasting bond with the biggest loser, literally (Robby Weirdhict). After a horrific senior prank, Robby (who later changed his name to Bob Stone) was left distraught as he stood his 300-pound naked body in the gymnasium filled with his entire senior class, as he was forever left the biggest joke of high school senior pranks. It took Bob years to reconnect with Calvin, and overcome his humiliation; but after years of working with the Central Intelligence agency, along the way Bob was fortunate enough to learn some very valuable lessons.
“Central Intelligence” is set to release on Thursday, June 17th The film is HILARIOUS, and highly recommended as the perfect way to start your weekend!
