Something about the Chanel ready-to-wear collection has me thrilled with excitement. The alluring ad campaign filled with black and white mixes class and rebelliousness perfectly to create the most fashionable delight. Silver is paired along with bright whites, which give the looks a futuristic feel.
One ad looks like the models could be on the moon or in outer space with silver pants being the most eye-catching. The other ad paints a picture of what could be schoolgirls knitting in uniforms, but the patent leather thigh high boots give more of a matrix or dominatrix persona. Some of the pieces that had my heart palpitating were the pieces in the handbag collection. Boy Chanel gives us chains, while the evening bag looks more like a ball and chain, but not the kind you want to keep at home.
One of the exceptional pieces was the minaudiere, which is likely to win you over if you like a more modern look. The boots are definitely huge for Chanel this season. Whether they are high, over the knee or thigh high, there is something for everyone’s stylish cravings. The thigh highs embellished with chains are my favorite. I also enjoyed seeing lots of white. Contrasts of black and white are abundant throughout the collection.
Last, but not least-the Chanel look is not complete without the Le Vernis polish. Particuliere, Vertigo, Azure and Black satin are going to be great colors for the fall/winter. Believe me when I tell you that the polish is worth every dollar that you spend on it. If you haven’t treated yourself, now may be the time to bring some Chanel into your life. You will never be disappointed.
