Coats and Jackets! You Can Never Have To Many!

Coats and Jackets! You Can Never Have To Many!

Fall is approaching, and it’s time to put up your sundresses and sandals and pull out boots and jackets. With fashion month around the corner this is the perfect time to get into what’s trending for fall.

Personally, I have been often told I have too many jackets; including jackets, blazers and coats. But, a girl can never have too much of anything when it comes to fashion. It’s similar to telling fashionistas you’re absorbing to much oxygen, (gasp!) the audacity of some! In fashion a jacket has always giving an already chic look distinction.  My favorite time frame for stylish coats and jackets is the 1970’s and now! The 1970’s was full of bold, bright, flare and flowing looks of distinction and wonder. And, for 2017 coats and jackets with distinction have returned.

Kontrol has provided a list of must haves and trending coats for the Fall/Winter 17-18. Check it out below.

Jean goes with anything!

With summer ending denim has been all the rave for this year, making jean appropriate for any season. Jean is perfect for denim on denim, with a sundress or a casual ensemble that you may want to spice up. Brands such as Old Navy, Aeropostale and high fashion designers Fendi and Gucci  are perfect for jean jackets this season. Regardless the occasion, a jean jacket can keep you warm for the fall and cool for the summer!

We love a good Bubble!

The Bubble jacket!  This is for those Northerners such as myself who tend to have weather that requires a lot more warmth. “It’s winter time, it’s too cold to be cute,” -anonymous. It is NEVER too anything to be fashionable. Thanks to brands such as North Face, Columbia, Eddie Bauer and Balenciaga for providing the bubble jackets with style.

Trench anyone?!

Everyone man or woman should have a trench coat. It’s perfect for business ensembles and perfect for the Autumn. But, ladies if your feeling sexy having a trench coat is like lingerie! Ever want to surprise your man put a trench coat over nothing and show up at his door and show out! In all, a trench coat is perfect the entire season.

Cool Wool!

Over the past couple years the popular late 1980’s early 1990’s wool coat has made a return. So, of course wool is cool! This look can take a business or casual white blouse and jean ensemble and give it sophistication. Oh, and the best thing about them if you’re a thrift shopper thrift stores always carries them, who doesn’t want to save a few dollars!

My favorite. Faux Fur!

Give me faux fur anything and I’ll die of happiness! This season like last season faux fur is trending in purses/handbags, slides, home goods and coats. One of my favorite faux fur brands is Emilio Pucci, a little pricey but, faux fur can be found in H&M and Forever 21 if you don’t want to break the bank. And, for animal rights supporters faux fur is animal free!

So,what’s in your closet?!
