Over these past few days I can’t help, but think about my boyfriend’s ex. No, I’m not insecure or suspicious. If anything I’m more so curious on the person that he is or was while they were together. I know some of you may be thinking it’s none of my business because it’s the past, but there is a part of me that wants to know to understand him better.
I’ve said in previous post that my boyfriend (whom we’ll refer to as Sean) isn’t the best communicator and it has me wondering, how the hell do they do it for the time they were together?
Either way Sean has been very open and admits that he’s still cordial with his exes. Me being who I am, I don’t have a problem with it at all. The only time I can think of it not sitting well was at a gathering he showed up and opted not to speak to me. At the time I thought he had left after my initial glance of seeing him, but it was brought to my attention he was there the whole time.
Refraining from assumptions I decided to dismiss the thought up until now.
No, I haven’t been snooping of any kind. No social media, unlocking phones, late night stalking, or questioning. One thing I believe is that the truth will always surface. Plus if I’m in a relationship with him then I’m already making the conscious decision to trust him.
Looking back to the ex from what I’ve heard we’re entirely two different people. Being that I don’t know him I refuse to judge. I see it as person who can provide some insight. Being that we’re connected through loving the same person speaks volumes. In some twisted way a bond is there.
Placing all egos aside, I intrigued by the opportunity of seeing what Sean may have seen in the both of us. I guess for now only he will know, but trust that I’ll be finding out very soon.
Again no insecurities just curiosities and I don’t care what it did to the cat. After all, the cat did have 9 live! J
