Dating Confessions Vol. 19: Body Count

By: Sebastien “@TheGayBestie” Gaudin

It’s been taboo for women to tell the truth about their “body count” other known as their number sexual of partners. Rumor has it that if a girl shares her number times it by two and there you have the real total, but is it really that serious?

Does telling really make a difference? As long as its safe sex, right?

Well for most guys they want to know, but they really don’t want to know. For some twisted reason men are territorial and enjoy the idea of feeling like they’ve been the only one. I get it and understand, but truth be told the only reason why you got so good was from experience.

whats your number question handwritten on the school blackboard

For example, myself before my boyfriend I wasn’t whoring around at all. If I had sex I tried different things, but I never wanted to give too much of myself away to someone I didn’t care about. Yeah, I’m the sappy type and need that connection to enjoy it. Now that I’ve met him I’ve learned more and done things outside my box of tricks and gadgets. Still mindful that we are not married, but we are committed to one another and I take my time with things I want to do. We’ve never discussed our “body counts” with one another because we’ve allowed our past not to interfere with our present as long as we both maintain a healthy relationship with one another.

To tell your body count only depends on the kind of guy you’re with. If he’s insecure then he’s not one you should date or even think about telling your business to. Keep in mind your “number” doesn’t define who you are; nor should it cause any shame for how high or low. What’s most important is your health and self-esteem behind your decisions past or present.

I have girlfriends who are still virgins and those who’ve had more than me, but what we aim to focus on are where we are now in our lives and where we’re heading.

Take your number and share it with those your comfortable telling and discussing ti with. At the end of the day no one’s opinion really matters, but your own!
