Fox‘s new series “Empire” is probably one of the hottest new television series airing right now. And it seems like they want to keep adding to the flame snatching up new celebrity faces for the cast. Mr. Diddy is not buying it though.
Page Six reported that Sean Combs’ son Quincy would be making an appearance on the show. Diddy, being a responsible father, wanted to look at the contract before his son signed on the dotted lines. Diddy caught a stipulation to Fox having the rights to his son’s music that he wasn’t too pleased about and decided to have a chat with 20th Century Fox executives in regards to getting the stipulation removed. Fox would not negotiate the stipulation so Diddy has banned Quincy from joining the “Empire” series.
Seems like Quincy was excited about the possibility of joining Lee Daniels’ new hit show posting pictures at the live premiere promoting the series. Daniels was just as excited too as source close to him say, “Lee’s super excited about having Quincy on the show.”
Maybe Lee Daniels can try and make some moves to help the two opposing sides come to an agreement for season 2? We all know Mr. Combs is a smart and stubborn businessman so we will see…
