First known to the masses as “Darryl” in the 1988 comedy film Coming to America and Dr. Peter Benton in the NBC drama series ER. Eriq La Salle has a major movie under his belt as the ally to Wolverine in the films final adaptation Logan.
La Salle has been keeping busy as an actor and director, he’s directing episodes of TV shows such as “CSI: Cyber,” “Madame Secretary,” “Crisis,” “Battle Creek” and “Night Shift” and has been in the series “A “Under the Dome.”
A private man Eriq doesn’t share much about his love life; after his breakup from his girlfriend, nothing has been stated concerning his personal life. However, last year Eriq purchased a 2,400 square feet home in Bel Air, from film producer Ralph Singleton and his wife for $3.03 million. The 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms home has a guesthouse featuring an ensuite and overlooks impressive views.
The film Logan stars Hugh Jackman and includes Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Richard E. Grant and Elise Neal.
This is how Logan is described: “In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces”.
Wolverine 3 will mark the first movie for Eriq La Salle in a decade, since 2006’s Johnny Was states Movie Web. “He has been keeping plenty busy on the small screen, though, both in front of and behind the camera (2017).
