The one thing people must remember about Ms. Erykah Badu is that no matter she’s going to keep it REAL!
The neo-soul queen recently made Harlem rapper and newest Playboy cover model, Azealia Banks, hit list over the weekend after going at it on Twitter after Badu stated she “tried” to listen to Azealia’s debut album.
According to NecoleBitchie, it all started when someone tweeted wondering if Erykah had ever listened to Azealia’s debut album, ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’, and when Erykah replied that she “tried”, Azealia went from 0-100 real quick!
It was after Ms. Badu tweeted the following tweet that caused all hell to break loose:
As you can see, Erykah had to let Azealia know she was bout that life as she conveniently turned her location on to show her that she was a hop, skip, and a jump away if she wanted to come by to finish the chat, *sips tea*, we see you Erykah being messy!
Anyway, Azealia then continued with her typical ranting:
Erykah responded with a polite, “Jus playin…happy love day. Be careful sis”
Now you would think it was over, right? Wrong! Azealia carried on with her attacks the next day saying:
She even tweeted asking for Erykah’s address.
Will Azealia ever be cool with anyone? Seems to me that this was pretty uncalled for as Erykah was giving her opinion on Azealia’s music, saying it wasn’t for her, instead of downing her album – and I wouldn’t want to mess with Erykah anyway. She seems like she could put a curse on you or something! Lawd knows she’s had many men under her spell!
