Low temperatures and biting winds didn’t stop Atlanta from stepping out in style for the MATTHEW 18 movie release party. The event took place at Strip in Atlantic Station on Thursday night, and guests packed out the top floor of the restaurant in lieu of catching the new Scandal episode—so you know it wasn’t an event to be missed!
Everybody felt like a celebrity as they were given the red carpet treatment with professional photo ops, free drinks, and a catered meal of steak kabobs and the restaurant’s signature spinach dip. The lively atmosphere was complemented by live music from Coley High, and host Big Tigger of V-103 hopped on the mic to give a warm welcome to attendees.
Other celebrity guests included Luenell and Jennifer Jayleen Martinez, as well as the film’s director Roy Belfrey. Tammy Rivera of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Vine celebrities Shod Santiago and DC Young Fly and WNBA wife Bo Talley also made an appearance to support the new film.
Like the venue promised, it was a night filled with style and substance.
MATTHEW 18 hits select theaters today across the U.S. Check out some of the photos from the party and watch the trailer below, and make sure to show some love at the box offices!
