On November 18th, BE Entertained Magazine put on their 5th Annual No Wire Hangers BEnefit Fashion Show (#NWH5) at Studio Kitchen Event Space & Ikonic Dance Studio hosted by actress/singer Demetria McKinney and #C4AC’s Creator, Mr. Clay West in support and awareness of National Diabetes Month with the Diabetes Association of Atlanta.

The theme for the show was #TraffiControl and showcased designs from Carlos Wayne, Kings Clothing, The Real C Mar, Q Maurice by Super Dope Closet Q, Planet Jag, Los Langelo, and Dus by Deon.  These designs were modeled by Georgia State University’s modeling troupe, Panthers Allure in addition to some of BE’s favorite models.  The event kicked off with a VIP reception for special guests where they enjoyed complimentary cocktails courtesy of Exclusiv Vodka and gift bags with assorted goodies from the Diabetes Association of Atlanta, author Latisha Robb, Signature Sipz, Clique by Roble, Miss Jessie’s, CURLS, Bare Body Collection, IMPROV Comedy Club, Pile New York, & Dr. Miracles.

Kontrol’s Editor in Chief, Julian Lark, attended the event along with other notable attendees including Diabetes Association of Atlanta’s Carole Johnson Davis, Jasmine Mosely, Karla Davis, & LaShonda Hubert, BE Entertained Magazine’s Co-Creator Brian Houston, Dondria Nicole, actor/singer/model Mishon, hairstylist Terrence Davidson, celebrity designers Raphael Cox & Reco Chapple, model JoVan Cook, the Voice’s Vedo the Singer, singers Tyrice “Gym Shoes” Lee, Tarvoria, & Antonio Ramsey, author/motivational Life Coach Latisha Robb, KKP Media Group radio show hosts Kidd Dupree & Kenya Kardashian, Ms. Bo Talley, and VH1’s Atlanta Ex’s Christina Johnson.  Sounds were provided by DJ B Easy with performances by Mooney and the Dancing Divas throughout the
